PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

BY-LAWS OF THE 

TCSD#1 RECREATION DISTRICT 

ARTICLE 5 - OFFICERS

Section 1. Officers. The Board shall elect annually from within its membership a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. The Board may elect such other officers as if determines necessary or convenient. Any officer may be removed from office, with or without cause, by a majority of the members of the full Board. Vacancies in offices shall be filled by the Board at the next regular meeting or special meeting after the vacancy occurred.

BY-LAWS OF THE 

TCSD#1 RECREATION DISTRICT 

ARTICLE 4 - BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Section 4.  Number, Tenure, and Qualifications. The TCSD#1 Recreation Board shall consist of five (5) voting members and ex-officio members as appointed by the Board.

1. Five (5) voting members shall be appointed by the TCSD#1 Board of Trustees.
2. The Superintendent of Teton County School District #1 shall be an ex-officio member.
3. The length of the term of the Trustees shall be: School Board Trustees shall be appointed by the Chair of the TCSD #1 Board of Trustees. The at-large Recreation District Trustees’ terms shall be (4) four years and shall be staggered, as determined and approved by the TCSD #1 Board of Trustees during a public meeting.  The TCSD #1 Board of Trustees shall annually appoint a successor to the Trustee(s) whose term(s) expire(s). The term of each succeeding Trustee shall commence on the first Monday in January next following the date of his/her appointment.  W.S. § 18-9-102(a). 
4. Recreation District Trustee(s) shall be appointed at the first meeting in December of the TCSD #1 Board of Education meeting to be seated commencing January 1st.  W.S. § 1-9-102.
5. Recreation District Trustees must be a competent citizen of Teton County, and at least three (3) trustees must serve on TCSD #1 Board of Education.

MEETING MINUTES

APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF DECEMBER 15, 2020

The minutes are considered draft until approved by the Board of Trustees.

Our adopted rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Robert's Rules, provide for a consent agenda listing several items for approval of the Board of Trustees by a single motion. Most of the items listed under the consent agenda have gone through Board subcommittee review and recommendation. Documentation concerning these items has been provided to all Board Trustees and the public in advance to assure an extensive and thorough review. Items may be removed from the consent agenda at the request of any board member.
