ACTION ITEM

WYOMING GAME & FISH DEPARTMENT

WORKFORCE HOUSING SEWER CONNECTION PERMIT

Executive Summary:  The Wyoming Game & Fish Department (WGFD) plans to build a workforce housing project on the South Park Wildlife Habitat Management Area south of Melody Ranch.  The project will be completed in two phases.  The first phase includes (6) three-bedroom, two-bath residences and (1) four-bedroom, four-bath seasonal residences.  Construction will tentatively begin late summer, 2023.  The second phase includes (6) three-bedroom, two-bath residences.  Because the WGFD only has construction documents for the first phase of development, staff recommends approving only connection for the first seven units at this time.  The second phase of the project would require a separate application and approval.

The District's Sewer Operator has reviewed the application and recommends approval with the following conditions:

  1. WGFD receives
    1. Wastewater connection approval from the Town of Jackson.
    2. Wyoming DEQ permit to Construct
    3. WYDOT Utility License
    4. Approval of the system design by the TCSD Sewer Operator (due to a family emergency the sewer operator has not completed design review)
  2. WGFD signs a Connection and Use Agreement with TCSD, designating the responsibilities of TCSD and the WGFD before allowing the physical connection.
  3. WGFD is responsible for any review and inspection fees exceeding the $200 application fee are reimbursed by WGFD, per the Munger Mountain Sewer Rules and Regulations.
