I THINK YOU HAVE SOME CELEBRATIONS.

THIS IS AN EXCITING TIME OF THE YEAR.

IT'S A BUSY TIME OF THE SCHOOL YEAR AND WE WANTED TO TAKE SOME TIME TO CELEBRATE SOME OF THE GREAT THINGS HAPPENING THROUGHOUT OUR SCHOOL DISTRICT THIS YEAR.

I'M GOING TO REVERSE THE ORDER JUST A LITTLE BIT SINCE THE ROBOTICS TEAM IS READY.

IF WE START WITH YOU AND MR. DUCAT ARE YOU TALKING? ARE YOU APPOINTING A STUDENT? [LAUGHTER] I THINK YOU GOT VOLUNTOLD.

>> YES, I THINK SO.

HI EVERYBODY I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE BOARD, THE COMMUNITY, AND THE DISTRICT FOR THE SUPPORT FOR THE JACKSON HOLE ROBOBRONCS FOR THE LAST 13 YEARS, IT'S THE 13TH YEAR OF DOING THIS.

THE JACKSON HOLE ROBOBRONCS IS A K12 FIRST PROGRAM, WHICH IS THE FIRST FOR INSPIRATION RECOGNITION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.

THIS ROBOTICS PROGRAM IS PART OF EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL IN THE TETON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT.

WE HAVE ALL THE 3RD GRADERS IN TETON COUNTY PARTICIPATING IN THEIR SCIENCE CLASSES.

WE HAVE 22, 4TH AND 5TH GRADE FLL TEAMS FIRST LEGALLY TEAMS WITH OVER 14 COACHES AND MENTORS FROM ALL SIX ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE VALLEY.

WE HAD FOUR 6TH GRADE FLL TEAMS OVER AT JACKSONVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL.

WE HAD EIGHT FTC TEAMS, WHICH IS 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS OVER JACKSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL AND THEN WE HAVE THE ONE FRC TEAM, WHICH IS THE JACKSON HOLE ROBOBRONCS, WHICH IS THE 9TH THROUGH 12TH GRADE PROGRAM.

IN OUR DISTRICT WE HAVE OVER 300 STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN ROBOTICS DURING THE YEAR, WHICH IS PRETTY AMAZING.

WE'RE PRETTY PROUD OF THAT.

THE TEAM BEING RECOGNIZED HERE, THE FRC TEAM 3374, HAS OVER 30 MEMBERS AND EIGHT MENTORS THAT WORK WITH US.

WE WORKED ABOUT 30 HOURS A WEEK DURING OUR BUILD SEASON AND IT'S REALLY A YEAR-ROUND CLUB.

WE WERE ACTUALLY WORKING TONIGHT BEFORE WE CAME HERE AND WE'VE HAD THE MOST SUCCESSFUL SEASON THAT WE'VE EVER HAD.

WE WENT TO POCATELLO, IDAHO IN SEPTEMBER AND WE WON THE ENGINEERING INSPIRATION AWARD AND FINALIST AWARD FOR THE ROBOT, WHICH IS NOT THIS ONE ACTUALLY, THE ONE BEFORE THIS ONE, CAT DOG.

THEN WE WENT TO SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA FOR CHEZY CHAMPS AND COMPETED AGAINST THE BEST IN THE WORLD.

LITERALLY, THE TEAM FROM ISRAEL WAS THE WINNERS.

WE WON THE JUDGE'S AWARD FOR OUR WORK AT THE RESERVATION AND ALL THE WORK WE DO OVER THERE.

THEN IN THE SPRING, WE WENT TO PORTLAND, MAINE, CALIFORNIA WITH PICO.

A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT AND WE WON THE ENGINEERING INSPIRATION AWARD AND THEN WERE SEMI-FINALISTS THERE.

THEN WE WENT TO COLORADO, WON THE CHAIRMAN'S AWARD, WHICH IS THE TOP AWARD FOR THE ROBOTICS COMPETITION,

AND WERE SEMI-FINALISTS THERE.

THEN WITH SALT LAKE CITY AND WE COULDN'T WIN THOSE AWARDS ANYMORE, SO WE WON THE QUALITY AWARD AND SEMI-FINALISTS AGAIN.

THEN WE ATTENDED THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN HOUSTON, TEXAS THREE WEEKS AGO.

WE TRAVELED A TOTAL OF 7,000 MILES THIS YEAR.

I JUST WANT TO SAY A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE SENIORS BECAUSE THIS SENIOR CREW HAS HAD A ROUGH GO OF IT THE LAST FEW YEARS.

SOME OF THEM HAVE BEEN IN ROBOTICS 7, 8 YEARS.

AND THIS WAS THEIR BIG CULMINATING THING.

IT WAS REALLY EXCITING THAT WITH COVID HITTING, IT WAS REALLY ROUGH THE LAST FEW YEARS TO KEEP ROBOTICS GOING WHEN YOU CAN'T MEET IN PERSON VERY OFTEN.

THEY REALLY PUSHED FORWARD IN HELPING OUR WORK ON THE WIND RIVER RESERVATION, HELPING THEM AND THEIR NEEDS AND THEIR HOPES.

WHEN MOST TEAMS CONTRACTED IN THE WORLD AND IN THE COUNTRY, OUR TEAM SAW AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW AND STRENGTHEN AND THESE KIDS REALLY STEPPED UP AND I'M REALLY PROUD OF THE EFFORT THAT THESE SENIORS AND ALL THE KIDS PUT TOGETHER.

WE JUST WANT TO SAY, REALLY, THANK YOU FOR RECOGNIZING THE TEAM.

[APPLAUSE] NOT SURE IF I WENT OVER, I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE ROBOT.

BUT WE REALLY TOOK A HUGE LEAP IN OUR CONTROL SYSTEMS AND MAKING SURE THAT EVERY SHOT WAS THE SAME EVERY TIME AS YOU GUYS SAW THERE WENT UP AND THEN SHOT THE OTHER IN THE PRECISELY TIMED EVENT, SO THAT'S IT WITH PICO.

THEN WE CAN'T [INAUDIBLE] WHICH IS THE MONKEY BAR CLIMBER.

BUT [INAUDIBLE] DIFFERENT HERE.

THAT'S WHAT ARMS DO, BUT YOU CAN'T TOUCH IT.

>> I DO. I SPONSORED A TEAM BACK IN DETROIT BACK IN THE EARLY '80S, WHICH WAS REALLY AT THE BEGINNING WHEN ROBOTICS GOT STARTED.

THE PURPOSE OF THAT PROGRAM BACK THEN WAS TO TRY AND INSPIRE STUDENTS TO WANT TO BE INTERESTED, PARTICULARLY IN ENGINEERING FIELDS OR THAT KIND OF THING.

SO MY QUESTION IS, HOW MANY OF YOU, YOUR INTERESTS HAVE BEEN SPURRED BY THIS THAT YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GOING TO COLLEGE TO FURTHER YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO DO THIS STUFF?

>> THE ENTIRE TEAM. I THINK ALMOST EVERYONE IS ALSO MAJORING IN A SIMILARLY RELATED FIELD, ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE, ALL THE WAY DOWN ON THE LINE.

IT'S AN INCREDIBLE PROGRAM FOR ALL OF US.

I'VE BEEN INVOLVED SINCE 6TH GRADE.

JUST A SUPER INSPIRING CLUB AND ALL THE WORK THE MENTORS PUT IN TO REALLY MAKE IT JUST THAT MUCH MORE SPECIAL AND ALL THE OPPORTUNITIES INSIDE OF IT AS WELL.

[OVERLAPPING] MY NAME IS MOLLY MATEO AND I RUN THE CULINARY PROGRAM AT THE HIGH SCHOOL, AND WE HAVE HAD A REALLY STRONG SPRING IN SOME OF THE PROJECTS THAT WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON.

MOST OF MY STUDENTS ARE WORKING RIGHT NOW, WHICH IS A GREAT PROBLEM TO HAVE IN MY CONTENT AREAS. IT'S JUST ME TONIGHT.

WE THIS SPRING FIRST HAD THE WYOMING PROSTART INVITATIONAL, WHICH WAS IN LARAMIE, AND WE HAD THREE TEAMS COMPETE THERE.

THE FIRST TEAM WAS OUR PROFESSIONAL BAKING TEAM AND THEY WERE TASKED WITH BUILDING A CAKE IN ONE HOUR AND AGAIN, NO ELECTRICITY, NO REFRIGERATION, JUST REALLY BASIC EQUIPMENT.

THIS IS THEIR CAKE, IT WAS INSPIRED BY A QUINCEANERA DRESS, AND THE THEME OF THE COMPETITION WAS A BLINGED OUT CAKE.

QUINCE DRESS BLING THEY GO HAND IN HAND.

THEY ACTUALLY GOT SECOND FOR THIS CAKE.

IF YOU WANT TO GO ON TO THE NEXT WE CAN TAKE A LOOK.

WE ALSO HAD A RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT TEAM, OUR CULINARY TEAM.

WE WON STATE THIS YEAR WITH THE CULINARY TEAM.

THEIR TASK WAS TO PREPARE A THREE-COURSE MEAL USING NO ELECTRICITY AND NO REFRIGERATION.

THEIR APPETIZER WAS THEY WANTED TO GO WITH A WYOMING NEEDS FANCY FRENCH THEME.

THEIR APPETIZER WAS A SMOKED STURGEON CROQUETTE.

ALTHOUGH STURGEON'S NOT WYOMING, TECHNICALLY WE'RE CLOSE SNAKE RIVER.

[LAUGHTER] IT WAS WHAT WE COULD GET OUR HANDS ON.

THEN THERE WAS ELKE CHATEAU BRION, AND THEN THE DESERT WAS A BAKED WYOMING, WHICH WAS LIKE A BAKED ALASKA BUT MOLASSES FLAVORED ICE CREAM.

THE FUN THING ABOUT THE COMPETITION THIS YEAR IS YOU CAN SEE THE PINK MIXER THAT IS ACTUALLY HAND-CRANK.

THIS COMPETITION BECAUSE THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY, NO REFRIGERATION THE FUN PART IS FIGURING OUT THE WORKAROUNDS AND SO WE WERE ABLE TO SOURCE A HAND-CRANKED KITCHEN AID FROM THE AMISH.

[NOISE] IT WAS GREAT.

THEY WERE SUPER SUCCESSFUL.

EACH OF THESE STUDENTS WAS AWARDED A 20,000 DOLLARS SCHOLARSHIP TO THE CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA, WHICH IS THE PREMIERE CULINARY SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY, SO I'M SUPER PROUD OF THAT EFFORT.

THEN WE ALSO HAD ANOTHER GROUP OF STUDENTS WORKING ON A DIFFERENT PROJECT.

ONE MORE, WE HAD THE RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT TEAM.

THEY PLAY SECOND AT STATE.

THIS GROUP OF STUDENTS PREPARED A BUSINESS PLAN FOR A RESTAURANT AND PITCHED IT SHARK TANK STYLE TO JUDGES WITHIN THE INDUSTRY.

SECOND PLACE THIS YEAR WAS A GREAT SHOWING FOR THEM.

THEN LASTLY, WE HAD A NEW PROJECT FOR US OR FOR THIS GROUP OF STUDENTS.

THIS WAS THE NASA HUNCH CULINARY COMPETITION.

TYPICALLY THIS HAS BEEN A ENGINEERING AND DESIGN PROTOTYPING COMPETITION, BUT THEY'VE INCORPORATED A CULINARY ASPECT OF IT NOW AND THE PROJECT FOR THIS YEAR WAS TO DESIGN A MEAL FOR THE PRE-FLIGHT QUARANTINE PROGRAMS, SO IT HELPS STABILIZATION PROGRAMS. ESSENTIALLY, BEFORE ASTRONAUTS GO TO THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION, THEY HAD TO SPEND ABOUT A MONTH IN ISOLATION.

THEIR PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN A MEAL FOR THAT ESSENTIAL QUARANTINE.

JUST LIKE ON EARTH, A LOT OF THE PHYSIOLOGICAL PROBLEMS THAT ASTRONAUTS EXPERIENCE IN SPACE CAN BE MITIGATED BY DIET AND EXERCISE AND SO THEIR JOB WAS TO LEARN THE PHYSIOLOGICAL CHANGES THAT HAPPEN IN SPACE AND DESIGN A MEAL TO COUNTERACT THAT.

THEY WERE SELECTED AS TOP 10 IN THE COUNTRY AND INVITED TO HOUSTON TO PREPARE THEIR MEAL AT JOHNSON SPACE CENTER AND PRESENT IT TO ASTRONAUTS, NASA FOOD SCIENTISTS, CHEFS, AND FLIGHT ENGINEERS.

IT WAS A HUGE PANEL. IT WAS 25 JUDGES FOR THIS COMPETITION. THAT WAS THEIR PROJECT.

THEY ALSO HAD A PRETTY HEAVY RESEARCH PAPER TALKING ABOUT THE CHANGES THAT HAPPEN TO THE BODY IN SPACE.

THEY TALK ABOUT HOW THIS FOOD IF IT WAS TO EVER GO TO SPACE, HOW IT WOULD BE PROCESSED AND PACKAGED.

BECAUSE YOU CAN'T JUST OPEN A BAG OF CHIPS IN SPACE BECAUSE [LAUGHTER].

THEY HAVE TO HAVE A PLAN FOR EVERYTHING.

THAT WAS A BIG PROJECT FOR THEM.

I DON'T KNOW HOW WE FINISHED OVERALL, BUT DEFINITELY KNOW THAT WE'RE TOP 10 IN THE COUNTRY FOR THAT.

>> THEY ALL RECEIVED A $12,000 SCHOLARSHIP TO SULLIVAN UNIVERSITY, WHICH IS HOSPITALITY AND CULINARY SCHOOL IN KNOXVILLE.

WE TYPICALLY, AS YOU KNOW, HISTORICALLY, WE TEND TO CELEBRATE STUDENTS GENERALLY THEIR UPPERCLASSMEN AND WE TALK ABOUT THE CLASSES THEY'VE TAKEN OVER FOUR YEARS AND WHERE THEY'RE GOING TO GO TO SCHOOL, WHICH ARE ALL EXCELLENT THINGS.

BUT I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT TO STEP BACK SOMETIMES AND RECOGNIZE ONE OF OUR FRESHMEN STUDENTS AND YOUNGER STUDENTS.

AIDEN WAS AWARDED STATEWIDE CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL FROM THE STATE.

IT'S ONE OF OUR FIRST STUDENTS TO EVER RECEIVE THIS RECOGNITION.

I BELIEVE THAT PDF IS IN YOUR DOCUMENT.

YOU CAN LOOK THROUGH AND LOOK AT SOME OF THE OTHER STUDENTS AROUND THE STATE.

BUT I WANTED TO GIVE AIDEN JUST A FEW MOMENTS TO TALK ABOUT THIS VERY UNIQUE AWARD FOR A FRESHMAN STUDENT WHO BY THE WAY HAS STRAIGHT A'S AND IS IN OUR MOST ADVANCED CLASSES AS A FRESHMAN THIS YEAR, WHICH IS A SPECTACULAR KID.

CAN YOU TAKE JUST A FEW MINUTES AND TALK ABOUT THE AWARD AND WHAT REALLY GOT YOU INTO THIS PROGRAM.

>> FIRST OFF, THANK YOU TO ALL FOR RECOGNIZING ME, AND THE CONGRESSIONAL AWARD IS AN AWARD THAT SOMEONE CAN EARN BY MEETING BOARD REQUIREMENTS, YOU NEED FOR THE SILVER LEVEL, WHICH IS THE ONE THAT I EARN ALONG WITH THE BRONZE.

YOU NEED TO HAVE COMPLETED 200 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE, 100 HOURS OF PERSONAL PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT, AND THEN 100 HOURS OF MENTAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNING, AND THAT'S ALL OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL AND THEN ALSO THE FOURTH REQUIREMENT, YOU'RE NEEDED TO GO ON AT LEAST A FIVE-DAY EXCURSION.

TO REACH MY VOLUNTEER HOURS THIS WAS MAINLY DONE THROUGH BOY SCOUTS, SPECIFICALLY MY EGO PROJECT, WHERE I ENDED UP BRANDING THE VISIT ADVENTURES AT THE JH AIRPORT WITH LOCAL [INAUDIBLE].

NEXT TIME YOU GO UP TO THE AIRPORT, THE LONG RECTANGULAR BENCHES WITH THE BRANDS ON THAT WAS MY PROJECT.

[LAUGHTER] FOR MY PHYSICAL FITNESS PORTION OF THE CONGRESSIONAL AWARD, I ENDED UP MAINLY GETTING THOSE HOURS THROUGH THE JACKSONVILLE BASKETBALL TEAM, WHICH I'M PART OF, AND THEN FOR MY PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT I GOT THOSE MAINLY THROUGH 4-H WHICH I'M PART OF.

I DID SHOTGUN CLUB AND HAD THE GOAL OF IMPROVING MY ACCURACY BY DOUBLE THROUGHOUT ONE SEASON OF SHOTGUN, AND THEN FOR MY EXCURSION, I ENDED UP WRITING OUT MY EXPERIENCE AT CEDAR BADGE, WHICH IS A BOY SCOUT CAMP OVER THE SUMMER.

IT'S A ONE-WEEK LEADERSHIP CAMP WHERE YOU GET TO LEARN A BUNCH OF TRAITS THAT LEADERS HAVE, HOW TO BECOME A BETTER LEADER YOURSELF, AND THINGS LIKE THAT.

GREAT JOB SO CONGRATULATIONS.

[APPLAUSE] ALSO, JUST TO SPEAK ABOUT OUR RECENT NATIONAL RECOGNITION, THE HIGH SCHOOL AND I STEPPED BACK FROM THAT A LITTLE BIT, THIS IS REALLY A DISTRICT AWARD IN REGARDS TO OUR RANKINGS IN US NEWS.

I KNOW THERE'S DIFFERENT OPINIONS ABOUT SCHOOL RANKINGS BECAUSE THERE'S SOME ONES THAT ARE FUNKY SOMETIMES, BUT ONE THING I THOUGHT I'D LIKE TO BRING TO THE TABLE JUST FOR YOU TO THINK ABOUT IS ONE OF THE METRICS THEY DO TALK ABOUT IS EVERY STUDENT BEING INVOLVED IN SOME TYPE OF COLLEGE LEVEL OR HIGHER LEVEL CLASS, NOT JUST CERTAIN DEMOGRAPHIC BUT ALL KIDS.

THAT'S ONE OF OUR GOALS FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND THAT REALLY HELPS US KEEP THAT BAR VERY HIGH AND STAY WITHIN THAT TOP RANGE IN OUR STATE.

WE SHOULD BE THE TOP SCHOOL IN THE STATE, THERE'S REALLY NO EXCUSES NOT TO BE, BUT THAT COMES FROM AN EXCELLENT MIDDLE SCHOOL AND AN EXCELLENT K-5 SYSTEM AND GILLIAN'S SUPPORT.

I WANT THIS TO REALLY BE RECOGNIZED FROM OUR K-12 ONES AND NOT JUST A HIGH SCHOOL ONE.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND I REALLY THANK OUR STAFF TOO.

WHEN WE THINK ABOUT FINANCIAL LITERACY, THERE'S SOME OPPORTUNITIES TO START TO DEVELOP SOME OF THE PREREQUISITE OR FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS TO FINANCIAL LITERACY.

I WANTED TO FRONT UP THE MATH STANDARDS SPECIFICALLY IN K-12 MATH STANDARDS AND AFTER EACH TIME ESSENTIALLY, EACH DOMAIN THAT'S LISTED IN OUR MATH STANDARDS.

EARLY ELEMENTARY, WE HAVE THINGS LIKE COUNTING AND CARDINALITY, OPERATIONS AND ALGEBRAIC THINKING.

AS YOU GET UP INTO LATE MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL, YOU START TO HAVE DOZENS STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY, EXPRESSIONS AND EQUATIONS.

I ONLY WANTED TO POINT THIS OUT.

I HIGHLIGHTED MEASUREMENT AND DATA.

IT'S NOT HARD AND FAST, THERE'S NOT A PROBABILITY STRUCTURE TO IT.

IT'S JUST WHERE SOME OF THOSE OPPORTUNITIES COME UP.

THESE ARE COURSE-BASED OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN ABOUT ALL SORTS OF FINANCIAL LITERACY SKILLS.

MOST OF OUR STUDENTS DO HAVE THIS OPPORTUNITY IN GOVERNMENT ECONOMICS.

EVERY STUDENT TAKES GOVERNMENT ECONOMICS IN OUR SCHOOL, AND THERE'S A PORTION OF THAT CLASS, WHICH IS DEDICATED TO FINANCE AND ECON.

THE COLLEGE UPWARD BUSINESS CLASS IS MOSTLY SENIORS, AND ABOUT A QUARTER THAT CLASS IS DEDICATED TO BUSINESS APPLICATIONS, CREDITS AND BUDGETS IN FINANCIAL LITERACY.

WE ALSO DO FLEX PROGRAMMING DURING THE DAY AROUND SOME OF THESE TOPICS, BUT IN REGARDS TO A DEDICATED CLASS IN WHICH EVERY STUDENT TAKES, THAT DOES NOT EXIST AT THE HIGH SCHOOL.

THAT WOULD BE A GRADUATION CHANGE IN OUR REQUIREMENTS.

IN REGARDS, SOME SCHOOLS DO THAT.

THEY'LL HAVE LIKE A 1.0 FINANCIAL LITERACY CLASS THAT EVERY STUDENT TAKES FROM THE TIME THEY GRADUATE JUST LIKE YOU WOULD REQUIRE FOUR YEARS ENGLISH, THREE YEARS SOCIAL STUDIES.

TYPICALLY, WHAT WE'VE DONE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL TO PROVIDE THAT FLEXIBILITY FOR STUDENTS IS A LOT OF THESE OPPORTUNITIES ARE IN OUR ALLIANCE, WHICH WILL REQUIRE 7.5 ELECTIVES FOR EVERY STUDENT.

SO REQUIREMENT VERSUS OPTION IS REALLY THE CONVERSATION IN TERMS OF FINANCIAL LITERACY RIGHT NOW.

THE MAJORITY DO TAKE SOME FINANCIAL LITERACY APPLICATIONS, ALTHOUGH IT'S NOT A DEDICATED 1.0 CLASS FOR THE YEAR, IF THAT'S ALL MAKING SENSE.

I WOULD ALMOST BE GREAT TO GO BACK AND MAKE SURE THOSE CALCULUS KIDS ARE GETTING SOME OF THIS.

IT REALLY IS EYE OPENING FROM A KID'S PERSPECTIVE ON WHAT STUDENT DEBT REALLY DOES TO THEM LONG-TERM.

THE HIGH-SCHOOL, IF WE HAVE A STUDENT ON THE EDGE OF THINKING ABOUT IT, WE REALLY TRY TO SUPPORT THEM AND PUSH AND NOT LET, NOT SUPPORTING IT 3, 4, OR FIVE OF THE TOTAL.

WE WANT THEM TO TAKE THE CLASS.

IF THEY END UP WITH A ONE OR TWO, THAT'S STILL A BETTER EDUCATION FOR THEM THAN NOT TAKING IT AND FEELING DEFEATED BUT THEY DON'T HAVE A CHANCE TO GET THAT THREE.

AS WE SEE SOME OF THE INCREASE IN TAXES AND INCREASE IN OTHER SOURCES OF REVENUE, THE VARIANCE BETWEEN OUR FOUNDATION GUARANTEE AND OUR TOTAL REVENUES DOES INCREASE.

SOME OF THE MAJOR AREAS FOR THIS ACTUALLY, IF YOU'LL GO TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE BEFORE THIS.

A LOT OF IT HAS TO DO WITH SUPPLY CHAIN, A LOT OF IT HAS TO DO WITH INFLATION.

THEN SOME OF IT, ESPECIALLY IN THE FACILITIES LINE IS, WE'RE DOING A REALLY GOOD JOB AT MAINTAINING OUR BUILDINGS AND IT COSTS MONEY TO DO THAT. GO TO THE BOTTOM.

FOR EXAMPLE, IF THE BOARD AT SOME POINT THROUGH THE CALENDAR REVIEW WANTED TO HAVE SOME TEMPORARY VIRTUAL DAYS THROUGHOUT THE CALENDAR, WHICH WE'VE ALREADY TALKED ABOUT THAT AND WE'RE NOT DOING THAT.

HOWEVER, THAT'S ONE REASON.

THE SECOND REASON IS INCLEMENT OR SEVERE WEATHER AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS CERTAINLY APPEALING TO US.

WE DID THAT ONE TIME THIS YEAR, BECAUSE WE HAD SOME INCLEMENT WEATHER, ALL THE PASSES WERE CLOSED.

I CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH ONE IT WAS.

THEN THE LAST ONE IS A COMBINATION OF TEMPORARY VIRTUAL DAYS THAT CANNOT EXCEED 50 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL SCHOOL DAYS.

IF WE WERE TO GET INTO A PANDEMIC AGAIN OR SOME OTHER REASON THAT WE HAD A CATASTROPHE AT ONE OF THE SCHOOLS AND WE HAD TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY, WE COULD IMPLEMENT THIS POLICY AS LONG AS WE DIDN'T EXCEED 50 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL SCHOOL DAYS.

THIS IS A FIRST DRAFT AND IT'S BEEN RECOMMENDED THAT IF WE'RE GOING TO DO ANY OF THESE, WE NEED TO HAVE A POLICY IN PLACE FROM WDE, AND THIS WAS THE DRAFT THAT THEY FORWARDED FOR OUR CONSIDERATION THROUGH CHAPTER 41.

THERE WAS A PARENT THERE THAT WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE COMMUNITY DEPUTY CHIEF THERE THAT REALLY PARTICULARLY LAST YEAR WITH THOSE NO SCHOOL FRIDAYS THAT SHE NOT HAD THAT ACCESS TO THE PRESS STAGE, THEIR FAMILY WOULD HAVE HAD TO REALLY MAKE SOME CHANGES IN THEIR WORKING SITUATION.

IT WAS REALLY COOL TO SEE AND I THINK THE FUNDERS WERE VERY EXCITED BY THE COLLABORATION AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORK AND THEY WERE VERY APPRECIATIVE OF THE PROFESSIONALS THAT DO SUPPORT [INAUDIBLE] ON THOSE FRIDAYS WHEN THE TEACHERS ARE HAVING ANSWERS.

IT WAS JUST A SPECTACULAR.
